Dr. B. R. Rick Curtis currently serves as Assistant to the President for Convention and Associational Relations at the North American Mission Board. Before this role, he spent fourteen years as a college professor and pursued his entrepreneurial passion by founding three successful companies in the marketing and communications sector.

With nearly forty years of experience as a missionary, church planter, pastor, associational mission strategist, seminary professor, and denominational leader, Dr. Curtis is committed to equipping others with biblical insight on life, faith, leadership, and integrity in today’s challenging culture.

He holds a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages and Ancient Near Eastern History and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership.

He is joyfully married to Alma and deeply grateful for their two children, Alyssa and Bryan, along with their spouses, Matthew and Preston. Together, they delight in the blessing of six wonderful grandchildren—Luca, Bennett, Ethan, Milo, Clara, and Peter—who bring immeasurable joy to their lives.
